The Black and Red entry, that was supposed to be up a long time ago, as you can see by the date, I must have made it private on accident. so those who actually read my blogs you ought to check it out. yea. bye

Hey everyone! It has been a very long time since I have blogged last. Almost an entire month. But, oh well. I finally got accepted into the CAP at Ball State University, (college of architecture and planning) so I will be doing that this coming fall. That has been the most exciting thing that has happened to me in a long time. Academic meet is coming up these mext 2 days, then directly following that we have spring break! AWESOME! I am going to Florida. My family is leaving Friday morning. I am not going to leave until monday afternoon, and Alison is going to fly down with me!! I am so totally excited. I am totally excited, she has never come on a trip with my family yet! So this will be pretty sweet. I also recently got my landscaping program for my computer. but other than those things, like is just plain good. I hope you all have a merry little week! I will! Tata!

Hey everyone. Things are starting to get back to normal now. I personally haven't been doing alot lately. I applies for a job at Bob Evans but they said that they wouldn't even consider hiring me if I cant work sundays and that if I could work sundays they would hire me. But I told them that I wouldn't, so, I didn't get the job. And it appears that I will never work at Bob Evans in my lifetime unless they change that. But anyways, that is the main thing that happened to me this weekend. Besides the obvious. So, have I hope that everyone has a great week!

I was shocked when I heard the news about Richie Loyd. Who expected it? Did it cross anybodies mind? He had been sick off and on for about 2 weeks, but who thought it would end like this? I knew him as a basketball player, and a funny kid I talked to in the hallway. Some knew him as a best friend, others knew him like I did, and yet another knew him as her boyfriend. But most importantly God knew him as his son. We can find comfort in this fact.

God's plan for Richie's life has been fulfilled. Whatever that was, it was completed. By what some of the fellow students have told me, life long lessons have been learned. You never know if it is the last time you will see someone. Richie's death should make us all think twice, if not more, before we say anything hurtful to someone.

Imagine how his parents must feel. Richie was an only child. He was their baby. now there is going to be an empty seat in the car every where they go. There is going to be an empty spot on the bench when we play basketball, and the number 20 on the JV lineup will forever be hung in the Loyd home as a memorial.

Many people were affected by his death this week. I personally do not believe that things should just go back to the way it was before. Someone in our school has died. We all can learn invaluable lessons this, whatever they may be.

All I can say, is "carpe diem," seize the day.
